Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Sales Administrator to assist and coordinate activities for assigned Sales Representatives and Sales Managers in New or Used Truck Sales. This role will handle order processing, reporting, and documentation to support a fast-paced sales operation.

This position requires strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent communication, with opportunities for advancement within a growing national network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience.
• Valid driver license if required to drive for the company.
• Commercial Driver’s License recommended but not required to assist sales staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Approve and process truck orders, including order changes.
• Prepare weekly sales status reports for managers and reps.
• Manage sales files, orders, packets, commissions, inventories, and adjustments.
• Prepare sales paperwork using SFA-TDP and ADP systems.
• Update catalogs and communicate manufacturer updates to the field; post truck photos.
• Manage internal and external purchase orders.
• Process MCOs and titles; handle dealer inventory transfers.
• Prepare flooring statements and reconcile monthly statements.
• Distribute month-end sales and inventory reports to managers.
• Offer compensation and benefits, with advancement opportunities.
