Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure products meet company and customer quality standards. The role includes performing final inspections and leading rework as needed, with strong emphasis on training the workforce on quality specifications.

Responsibilities include conducting in-process audits, ensuring exact adherence to drawings and specifications, and collaborating with manufacturing to meet delivery and budget targets while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality control/quality assurance position; 3 years in manufacturing/final assembly or QA preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Communicate clearly and effectively.
• Concentrate for extended periods and follow established safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units to ensure they meet customer specifications and Reading's drawings and standards.
• Perform final inspection per Reading and customer specs and standards.
• Conduct in-process quality audits and review standards with production supervisor when defects are detected.
• Direct and coordinate the quality process and supervise rework items as needed.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and budget goals are met.
• Train workforce on quality standards and specifications.
