Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group in Florence, SC is seeking a Parts Front Counter Person to be the face of the dealership’s parts department. You will sell parts and services for truck repairs, greet customers, and ensure inquiries are answered while maintaining an organized, clean parts area.

This role requires strong customer service, knowledge of heavy trucks, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Compensation is $20-$25 per hour plus bonus, with benefits including 401k and health plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Three years or more experience with heavy-duty trucks and parts.
• OEM Dealer experience.
• Knowledge of truck engines, transmissions and rear axles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in relevant computer applications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds if required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the front counter and sell parts/services.
• Pull parts for customers, handle returns, maintain organized displays.
• Answer inquiries, resolve concerns, ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process cash, credit, and checks according to dealership procedures.
• Record sales/transactions; support Parts Manager with displays.
