Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Midland, NC is seeking a Paint Prepper for a full-time Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. This role focuses on surface preparation for painting, filling imperfections, masking surfaces, and preparing components for assembly.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Join a team at a longstanding, North American truck equipment leader and contribute to quality finishes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for paint per established standards.
• Fill and sand body imperfections as needed.
• Mask and protect vehicle surfaces.
• Pre-fit and drill bumpers, ladder racks and other holes as necessary.
