Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Centers in Acworth, GA is seeking a full-time Paint/Prep Technician to prepare and prime truck bodies for painting. You will ensure surfaces are suitably prepped, masked, and ready for coating, working Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and prior experience prepping metal surfaces. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401k and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds.
• Experience prepping metal surfaces for painting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for paint per established standards.
• Fill and sand body imperfections as needed.
• Mask and protect vehicle surfaces.
• Pre-fit and drill bumpers, ladder racks and other holes as necessary.
