Job summary

Guernsey Petroleum Distributors Ltd (GPD Ltd) is seeking a reliable Truck Operator to join our fuel logistics team in Guernsey. You will deliver fuel to our clients across the island, loading and unloading at depots and sites, while maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks.

We offer full training including ADR/PDP licensing, ongoing support, and a safety-focused environment with opportunities for development and benefits as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Valid, clean Cat C driving licence.
• ADR and PDP licences (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum 2 years driving HGVs, ideally in fuel delivery.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload fuel at depot and customer sites independently.
• Follow assigned delivery routes without supervision.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Operate vehicle pumps, metering equipment, and spill/fire equipment (training provided).
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and comply with traffic laws.
• Report delivery issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Wear appropriate safety gear and follow health & safety protocols.
• Complete delivery notes, timesheets, and other documentation.
• Promote GPD during customer interactions.

What You'll Need
