J Polep Distribution in Chicopee, MA is seeking a Truck Loader to join our in-person warehouse team. You will load and unload goods onto trucks using forklift or pallet jack, verify loads, and coordinate with teammates to ensure safe, on-time transportation.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, keeping the loading area clean, following safety procedures, and performing basic paperwork and equipment maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods onto and off of trucks using forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure and balanced.
• Keep inventory and ensure correct items on correct trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness of loading area and equipment.
• Operate loading equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and team to coordinate loading/unloading.
• Maintain records and complete paperwork as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on loading equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading of goods by hand as needed.
