National Convenience Distributors is seeking a reliable Truck Loader to join our Chicopee, MA operation. You will load and unload goods onto trucks, operate forklifts or pallet jacks, and help ensure loads are balanced, secure, and accurately tracked.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to perform loading duties.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods onto and off of trucks using forklift or pallet jack.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure and properly balanced.
• Keep track of inventory and ensure correct items are loaded onto the correct trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness of loading area and equipment.
• Operate loading equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading.
• Maintain records and complete paperwork as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on loading equipment.
• Assist with manual loading/unloading as needed.
