Job summary

APAC Central Inc. in the River Valley region of Oklahoma is seeking a Truck Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain Ready Mix and heavy trucks and equipment. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, a $20–$24/hour base pay, and benefits through the CRH family.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3–6 months of experience, and ASE/CDL preferred. You’ll work with a safety-first team, contributing to reliable fleet operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or technical certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance a plus.
• Minimum 3–6 months of hands‑on experience with heavy equipment maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE certifications and a valid CDL (A or B) preferred; clean driving record is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Ready Mix Trucks, End Dump Trucks, Tractors, Trailers, and Heavy Construction Equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and deliver effective solutions for maximum reliability and performance.
• Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain equipment using advanced tools and techniques.
• Examine parts for wear and damage using precision instruments.
• Replace and overhaul major components: engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and more.
• Test and operate equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Demonstrate welding skills to restore structural components.
• Lead and mentor teammates during cleaning, assembly, and disassembly tasks.
• Record time and parts data accurately to stay compliant and efficient.
