Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled Truck Frame and Alignment Technician in Minnesota for a direct hire opportunity. The role offers great hours, competitive pay, and fabulous benefits.

Qualifications

• Current DOT Certification for vehicle inspections (or willingness to obtain).
• Hands-on experience with commercial frame and alignment equipment.
• Strong mechanical problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
• 2 years of professional welding experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform frame straightening, alignment, and trailer repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and trucks.
• Repair and service vehicle electrical wiring, suspensions, and brakes.
• Perform welding and grinding tasks.
• Complete DOT inspections or obtain certification.
• Work independently or in a two-person team to complete daily shop tasks.
• Follow safety protocols including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.
• Lift/move materials up to 50 lbs with proper equipment.
• Perform other shop duties as assigned.

Spherion Staffing is proud to partner with a well-known, premier local employer in search of a Truck Frame and Alignment Technician to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with great hours, competitive pay, and fabulous benefits!

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime opportunities available)

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Perform frame straightening, alignment, and trailer repairs on a variety of heavy-duty vehicles and trucks.
• Repair and service vehicle electrical wiring, suspensions, and brakes.
• Perform welding and grinding tasks.
• Complete DOT inspections or be willing to obtain certification to do so.
• Work effectively independently or in a team of two to complete daily shop tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols, including wearing required steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs., utilizing proper equipment (two-man lifts, forklifts, overhead cranes) for heavier items.
• Perform other shop duties as assigned to support the team.

Skills:

• Current DOT Certification for vehicle inspections (or willingness to obtain).
• Hands-on experience with commercial frame and alignment equipment.
• Strong mechanical problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional welding experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks on a continual basis, including standing, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching, sitting, gripping, and wrenching.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continually.
• Must be able to provide your own small hand tools (A rent-to-own toolbox program with company subsidy is available).
