Job summary

Salish Kootenai College seeks an instructor to assist in teaching the basic principles of truck driving, including operating procedures, pre-start checks, maintenance, and safe practices. The role aims to produce entry-level, safety-conscious drivers and requires independent work with minimal supervision.

The candidate must hold a valid Class A CDL with current medical certification; HazMat, tanker endorsements preferred. Strong communication with diverse student groups is essential to success.

Qualifications

Instruction is intended to produce safe, entry-level drivers. Insure safety of participants and others on projects & work areas. Maintain a safe, clean work environment. Must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
