Position: Truck Driver / Warehouse Material Handler

POSITION SUMMARY

The PSI Group in Williamsport MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking a combination Truck Driver / Warehouse Material Handler to join our 1st shift team as a Warehouse Logistics Driver / Material Handler. This position is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This is a full time positionwith a core schedule of Monday through Friday andrequires the ability to work overtime as needed. This position does not require the scheduling flexibilityto work a rotating shift. This position will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading,storage, transportationof materials and finished goods between our local manufacturing plant(s) and our warehouse, and make deliveries to local customers.In addition to CDL Driver and Material Handler job responsibilities, the Warehouse Logistics Driver / Material Handler will also perform Inventory Control and Quality Audit functions. Good attendance is a must!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Current CDL-Alicense with 2 - 3 yrs of related experience preferred, but not required.
  • 3 - 5 years Fork Lift Operator/Material Handler experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Knowledge of safe fork lift operations.
  • Safety First Mentality
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time and climb in and out of truck cab multiple times per shift
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, stoop, crouch or kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Intermediate to advanced levelknowledge of computer and bar code scanning systems.
