Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a part-time Truck Driver at Fort Sill, OK to transport Soldiers and personnel on post. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, load/unload passengers, and coordinate deliveries while complying with safety rules and security requirements.

Qualifications include a REAL ID driver's license, CDL A with air brakes, and 2 years of tractor-trailer experience with a clean record; ability to pass pre-employment checks and DoT physical; MOS 88M is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• REAL ID-compliant state-issued driver's license.
• Valid and Current CDL A (with air brakes endorsement, no restrictions).
• Two (2) years of successful experience operating a tractor trailer.
• Clean driving record for past seven (7) years.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation results, obtain and maintain a CAC.
• Commitment to safe and compliant transportation operations.
• Ability to drive Manual and Automatic Transmission Trucks.
• Ability to pass DoT physical, with no restrictions.

Job description

$250 Retention Bonus – The Truck Driver drives a truck and tractor trailer to transport passengers between various types of local pick up and drop off points on Fort Sill, OK. Supports daily transportation operations at Fort Sill, OK. This role is transporting Soldiers and military personnel across the installation per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while maintaining strict safety and security standards.

Responsibilities

Desired Qualifications

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, reaching, and operating in tiring positions.
• Periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
• Personal protective equipment (e.g., eye protection, gloves) may be required.

Pay & Benefits

• SCA $25/hour and $5.09/hour Health and Welfare Benefits with a $250 Retention Bonus after 90 days successful employment.
• Hours per Week– Part-Time.
• Shift: Variable.
