Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced Class A truck drivers for weekly home time and consistent routes. A minimum of 3 months OTR or regional experience is required.

Drivers earn $1,380 to $1,700 per week with a home weekly schedule of 5 out and 2 days home with your family. Operating area includes West Memphis AR delivering to TX, OK, TN, AR, LA, MS, MO, KY, IL, and AL. 100% touch freight; unloads freight using roller conveyors.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).
• Moving Violation: No more than 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations in past 5 years.
• Accident: No major preventable accidents in CMV in past 5 years.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in CMV in past 3 years.
• Terminations: Drivers terminated from last 2 driving jobs will not qualify.
• DUI/DWI: No DUIs in a Commercial vehicle ever.

• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and communicate with dispatch and driver managers.

Job description

Account: $1380 to $1700 per week.

Home Weekly: 5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: West Memphis AR delivering to TX, OK, TN, AR, LA, MS, MO, KY, IL, and AL).

Driver unloads freight using roller conveyors.

Load: 3 loads per week and 3 stops average. (100% touch freight).

Duties

Requirements

• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.
• Terminations: Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.
• Felonies and Misdemeanors: Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.
• DUI/DWI: No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
