Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A CDL drivers to run shipments with home time weekly across Arizona and Southern California (LA, San Diego). You will inspect, load, and deliver freight on schedule while maintaining logs and coordinating with dispatch.

Qualified candidates have 3 months experience, a clean MVR, and must pass a DOT drug screen. Equal employment opportunity employer and licensed carrier under FMCSA/DOT. Home weekly with 5 on, 2 off pattern.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license is required.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).
• Moving violations: No more than 3 in the last 3 years.
• Accidents: No major preventable CMV accidents in past 5 years; no more than 3 in past 3 years.
• DUI/DWI: No DUIs in CMV ever; no more than 2 DUIs in lifetime; no DUIs in past 5 years.

Compensation:

$1350 to $1600 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family.(Operating Area: Lanes include all of AZ, and Southern California to include LA and San Diego.).

Duties:

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation:

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident:

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Rollover.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Felonies and Misdemeanors:

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI:

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
