Job summary

GEX Transport is hiring qualified truck drivers in the United States, with a valid CDL Class A and at least 3 months of experience in Over the Road or Regional lanes. You will be joining a licensed contract carrier operating under federal safety regulations.

Expect home weekly (5 days out, 2 days at home) with lanes covering AZ and Southern California including LA and San Diego. Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurate logs, and clear communication with dispatch are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 3 months driving experience required, with OTR or regional exposure.
• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Clean motor vehicle record and ability to pass DOT drug screen.
• Must meet moving violation and accident history standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain logs and trip documentation; communicate with dispatch and driver managers.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family.(Operating Area: Lanes include all of AZ, and Southern California to include LA and San Diego).

Duties

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Rollover.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
