Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced truck drivers for steady OTR and regional runs across the Midwest. A valid CDL-A and DOT compliance are required, with a record free of major violations.

You will handle 2–3 loads per week and 4–5 stops per load, with 100% touch freight. Expect home weekly (5 days out, 2 days home) and professional support from the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months OTR or regional driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (urine and hair follicle).
• No major moving violations in the last 3 years and no major accidents in 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI violations within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and communicate with dispatch.
• Unload freight using roller conveyors as required.

Experience Drivers:

Must have a minimum of 3 months O.T.R or Regional experience.

Account:

$1600 to $2100 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family.

Operating Area

MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, KS, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY.

driver unloads freight using roller conveyors.

Load

2 to 3 loads per week and 4 to 5 stops per load. (100% touch freight).

Duties:

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.


• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.


• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation:

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.


• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.


• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident:

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 5 years.


• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations:

• Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors:

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.


• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI:

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.


• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.


• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
