Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced CDL A drivers for home weekly service with steady pay and reliable freight. This position requires 3+ months of OTR or regional experience and offers weekly pay between $1,600 and $2,100 with home time to spend with family.

Drivers will run MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, KS, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY with 2–3 loads per week and 4–5 stops per load. 100% touch freight. Strong emphasis on safety and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

Experience Drivers

Must have a minimum of 3 months O.T.R or Regional experience.

Account

$1600 to $2100 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family.

Operating Area: MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, KS, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY.

Load

2 to 3 loads per week and 4 to 5 stops per load. (100% touch freight).

Duties

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

• Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
