Truck Driver (Roll-Off) - Sanitation Hauling

(1) Job Summary

• Operate a heavy-duty truck safely, responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large containers to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities and customer sites. Navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, and high-traffic roads, often in tight environments. Skilled backing maneuvers are essential.

  Receive notice of work ranging from a few days to an hour before the shift. Must be able to commute and be ready to work promptly.

  This is a casual, on-call, part-time position ideal for licensed CDL Class B drivers seeking supplemental income, with 0 to 25 hours of work weekly based on needs.

  Location: 105 Route 46 West, Lodi NJ. Availability on Mondays or Fridays and Saturdays during summer is required.

(2) Responsibilities:

• Arrive promptly after On Call request.
• Work on short notice when needed.
• Operate heavy and light loads safely on residential, highway, dump, and transfer stations.
• Load and unload waste, including hooking/unhooking containers and tarping loads.
• Inspect truck before and after shifts.
• Track and document container pickups, deliveries, swaps, dump tickets, and box numbers.
• Report issues promptly.
• Punctuality is essential.

*Note: We do NOT haul hazardous materials.*

(3) Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of experience with Roll-Off trucks is REQUIRED.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class-B) with Airbrake endorsement is REQUIRED.
• Physically capable of handling workload.
• Ability to follow instructions clearly.
• Clean driving record with zero points.
• Familiarity with Northern New Jersey roads and routes.
• Strong work ethic, passionate, and driven.

(4) Compensation Range

$25.00 – $30.00 per hour. Overtime is available. Compensation depends on experience and skills.
