Job description

You can get out on the open road with Arc Herkimer!

Starting rate $21, Monday – Friday split shifts to full days, 37.5 hours per week. Optional overtime may be available.

Full Time and Part Time positions available!

18+ years old, valid New York State Class B CDL, with passenger and school endorsements preferred. Will consider candidates with a NYS Class B CDL license or permit.

Must meet all NYS DMV Article 19A requirements.

You’re the first face people with disabilities see in the morning, and the last face in the afternoon! As a Bus Driver, you:

• Transport individuals safely
• Assist individuals with special needs in entering or exiting the bus
• Communicate with staff regarding emergent situations during transport
• Perform pre- and post-trip checks, keep transport logs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Have opportunities to complete community charters and contract trips
