Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Truck Driver, Over-the-Road (OTR) to operate semi-vans, tankers, and roll-off trucks across designated routes. The role requires a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a high-school diploma or equivalent.

Expect a strong safety focus and regular interaction with customers as you transport waste materials to disposal facilities. The position offers a competitive pay package with a $7,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• High-school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-vans, tankers and roll-off trucks as required.
• Complete routes as designated by Transport dispatchers with loaded tankers to disposal facilities.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment daily, fuel truck and ensure mechanical readiness.
• Complete manifests, company documents and placarding for each load.
• Maintain logbooks for DOT compliance and state/federal regulations.
• Drive to customer sites to collect waste materials and/or transport to disposal facility.
• Represent the company with courtesy to customers.
• Take on additional duties to support the team.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Truck Driver, Over-the-Road (OTR)

• $120k+ annually
• $7,000 sign on bonus

Our Truck Drivers operate semi-vans, tankers and roll-off trucks as required.

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Completes assigned routes as designated by Transport dispatchers with loaded tankers consisting of customer materials to be transported to a disposal facility
• Prior to driving transportation equipment/vacuum trucks, prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order
• Completes manifests, Company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed
• Maintains logbook for DOT compliance and State and Federal regulations
• Drives to the customer site to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facility for unloading and disposal
• Acts as Company representative with courtesy towards every customer
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
