Job summary

CHS Inc. in Wausa, NE seeks a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to haul agronomy products locally and support site operations when driving is slow. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient logistics in a rural agricultural environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ years in Operations or Trucking, a High School diploma or GED, and a CDL with DOT medical card. CDL and endorsements are preferred, with willingness to work additional hours and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties
