Position Description

Immediate opening for a SOLO Non CDL Yard Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Wilmington, IL!

Pay and Schedule

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $22.00 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40+ hours
• Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday
• Start Time: Varies
• Sign on Bonus: $500 at 30 days and $500 at 90 days

Job Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Verifiable experience in similar equipment (9 months in last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years)
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical, Yard Driver exam
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws and policies

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver tractor trailers on yard (no public road driving)
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain records
• Detect hazards and maintain inventory records
