Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking a CDL Class A truck driver for a home-daily night-shift schedule. Expect about 1,700 miles per week with 23 stops, and reliable freight to keep you earning consistently.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, on-time freight delivery, and precise log maintenance. You will need to pass a DOT drug screen and maintain a clean MVR to qualify for this role.

$1535 to $1650 per week.

Home Daily

• Night driving shift.
• Load: 23 stops per week.
• Miles per week: 1700.

Duties:

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation:

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations in past 5 years.

Accident:

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Rollover.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations:

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors:

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI:

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
