Job summary

International Paper in Laurens, SC is seeking a CDL truck driver to deliver corrugated sheets and boxes. You will perform daily safety inspections, complete DOT paperwork, and ensure accurate delivery documentation.

You will hook/unhook from trailers, verify quantities, signatures, and unload times, and maintain the truck interior. IP offers a comprehensive benefits package and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL and 2 years of over the road experience.
• 10 year safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to deliver corrugated sheets and boxes.
• Responsible for daily safety inspection of truck.
• Fills out paperwork required by DOT.
• Delivers Bill of Lading to customer, obtains signature and returns to IP.
• Verify delivery information, counts, order number, appearance and notes any shipping damage incurred.
• Hook and unhook from trailer.
• Completes customer delivery and unloading time sheets.
• Picks up pallets or rejected material.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on the receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Cleans inside of truck and performs routine maintenance on truck.
