Job summary

High Transit in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Truck Driver/Delivery Representative to haul oversized loads and deliver to job-sites and customers. You will manage routing, permitting, escorting, loading, unloading, and ensure DOT paperwork is complete.

Ideal candidates start as early as 4:00am, Monday through Friday, with overnight trips up to two days per week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more as part of The High Companies team.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license and clean driving record.
• 1+ years of experience hauling a flat bed trailer.
• At least 2 years of CDL A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer to deliver company products to customers and sites.
• Verify load accuracy and prepare load for delivery, including chaining down the load.
• Assist in unloading of load as requested.
• Maintain DOT documentation and vehicle condition reporting.

We are seeking a Truck Driver/Delivery Representative to join our team at High Steel Service Center in Lancaster, PA.

Truck Driver/Delivery Representatives are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks related to operating a tractor-trailer to delivery company products to job-sites, customers and other various locations for Service Center.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to start as early as 4:00am Monday - Friday and the ability to perform overnight trips up to two (2) days per week.

Areas of responsibility:

• Ability to operate a tractor-trailer to delivery company products to customers
• Maintain and ensure that vehicle is good working condition, report any issues to High Transit supervision
• Ability to verify load accuracy and prepare load for delivery, including chaining down the load
• Assist in unloading of load as requested
• Maintain all required DOT documentation

Qualifications and Work History:

• Valid CDL A driver's license and clean driving record, required
• 1+ years of experience hauling a flat bed trailer,preferred
• at-least 2 years of CDL A driving experience required
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability in sound decision making process
• Ability to start early in the morning (4:00 am).
