Job summary

Logistec in Houston, TX, is seeking a yard truck operator to support loading and discharging cargo within the facility. The role focuses on operating terminal yard trucks and ensuring cargo is secured for transport, with attention to safety and efficiency.

Must have a TWIC card and heavy hauling experience; three years driving mule jockey or tractor trailer experience is required. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be necessary. This is not an over-the-road position.

• Load and unload break bulk cargo, containers, steel/pipe using standard equipment.
• Couple and uncouple trailers, connect air and electrical lines.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and follow signals from loading crew.
• Maintain logs of loads and daily shift activity.
• Maintain clean work area and safety awareness around vehicles and equipment.
• Perform other duties such as general labor as assigned.
