What you’ll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• Safe driving record and history
• Willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Pass a DOT drug test with no positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
• Available for a flexible schedule, including day, night, and weekend shifts, working up to 12-14 hours a day

Typical daily responsibilities:

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples, safely
• Provide excellent customer service and generate sales leads
• Load and unload freight

Required Truck Driver duties:

• Lift objects up to 50 lbs frequently, occasionally over 75 lbs
• Safely climb in/out of tractor cabs and trailers
• Sit for extended periods and operate heavy equipment and forklifts safely
• Walk, stand, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel in various conditions
• Operate a tractor-trailer for up to 11 hours in all weather conditions, transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
