What you’ll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• Safe driving record and history
• Willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Pass a DOT drug test with no positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
• Available to work a flexible schedule, up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night, and weekend shifts

Typical daily duties include:

• Safely operating tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples
• Providing excellent customer service and generating sales leads
• Loading and unloading freight

Requirements for Truck Drivers include:

• Lifting objects up to 50 lbs., occasionally over 75 lbs.; moving and positioning a converter dolly weighing approximately 128 lbs.
• Safely climbing in/out of tractor cabs/trailers
• Sitting for extended periods while operating heavy equipment and forklifts
• Walking, standing, reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling, often outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating a tractor-trailer for up to 11 hours in all weather conditions, transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
