Job summary

Penske Logistics is looking for full-time CDL Class B truck drivers for a dedicated route in Escanaba, MI. You’ll drive late-model Penske trucks on a schedule that runs Tuesday through Saturday, with an average of about 50 hours per week and home daily.

You will perform multi-stop deliveries, unload with pallet jacks, and support transfers as needed while upholding safety standards. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement required.
• U.S. domicile and state residency license.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of relevant commercial driving in last 5 years.
• Clean DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Able to work the specified schedule and pass pre-employment checks.

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday
• 12:30 AM dispatch until route is complete
• Average 50 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
