Job summary

Penske Logistics in Davenport, IA is hiring full-time CDL Class B Truck Drivers to perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies. This role features night dispatch, home daily operations, and a dedicated route with consistent weekly miles.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate)
• 1 year of commercial driving experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR with <=2 moving violations/accidents
• Compliance with all applicable laws and safety rules
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential
• English language proficiency required by federal law
• Background check and drug screening required

• Average $77790 annually

You will drive:

• Automatic day-cab straight trucks
• Equipment designed for comfort and safety
• Liftgate-equipped straight trucks

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to customers
• Load and unload freight using manual pallet jacks and liftgate
• Complete deliveries and transfers along an assigned route

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 10:00 PM dispatch
• Approximately 50 hours per week
• Night shift with hours based on route completion

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
