Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring full-time Class A CDL truck drivers in Clyde, OH. You’ll operate late-model Penske trucks on diverse routes, with home daily schedules and no-touch load opportunities. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits accompany a pay rate of $26 per hour with overtime after 40 hours.

You’ll work a 60-hour week on a rotating schedule. Eligible drivers enjoy paid vacation from day 1, strong health coverage, life and disability insurance, uniforms, and bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required and applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card is required.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency is required to comply with federal law.

Responsibilities

• Work at various dedicated accounts and shifts as needed.
• Support a variety of routes and assignments based on business needs.
• Perform drop & hook deliveries.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of tractors and equipment.
• Escalate equipment repair needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain positive relationships with the customer and dispatch.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• $26.00 per hour, plus OT after 40 hours
• Average $94730 annually
• $5,000 sign-on bonus
• Floater position with a variety of routes and assignments
• Home daily
• No-touch freight / drop & hook position
• Additional safety and performance incentives available, up to $6,600 annually

What you will do:

• Work at various dedicated accounts and shifts as needed
• Support a variety of routes and assignments based on business needs
• Perform drop & hook deliveries
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of tractors and equipment
• Escalate equipment repair needs in a timely manner
• Maintain positive relationships with the customer and dispatch

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
• Average 60 hours per week
• Overtime after 40 hours

• Late model, Penske-maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
