Job description

Join to apply for the Truck Driver - Class A (Nights) role at Core-Mark International.

Position Details:

  • Pay is $27/hour with a $6,000 Sign-On BONUS (must meet minimum requirements, details discussed during interview).
  • Full-time company driver, schedule Monday - Friday, 4-5 days per week.
  • Dispatch between 2pm - 7pm, working 10-12 hour shifts.

Position Purpose: The Driver, Hourly CDL-A, is responsible for operating tractor/trailer units to deliver and unload food products, complying with DOT regulations, and ensuring professional communication with customers and co-workers. Performs safety checks, maintains logs, and performs related duties to support the company's operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing safety inspections and reporting issues.
  • Following DOT and company safety guidelines.
  • Loading/unloading products, verifying deliveries, and completing paperwork.
  • Securing freight, handling damaged goods, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
  • Adhering to hours of service regulations and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
  • Valid CDL-A license, with all state licensing requirements met.
  • Clean MVR for the past 3 years.
  • Ability to pass drug tests, background checks, and road tests.
  • Current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift and handle freight weighing between 10-90 pounds.
