Job summary

Penske Logistics in Nitro, WV is hiring immediate full-time CDL Class A Truck Drivers to deliver auto parts along a dedicated route between Nitro and Huntington. You’ll drive late-model Penske equipment, unload with pallet jacks, make about 45 stops weekly, and maintain professional customer interactions.

The role offers strong pay with average annual earnings around $67,500, home daily, and a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one, including health, retirement, life and disability

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• DOT medical card required or ability to obtain it.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of auto parts and supplies.
• Deliver along a dedicated route between Nitro, WV and Huntington, WV.
• Unload trailer using pallet jacks, hand carts, and totes.
• Make approximately 45 stops per week.
• Complete liftgate deliveries.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers.

What you will do

• Deliver along a dedicated route between Nitro, WV and Huntington, WV
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand carts, and totes
• Make approximately 45 stops per week
• Complete liftgate deliveries
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule

• Monday through Saturday
• 5-day work week
• Typical dispatch time is 8:30 PM, with slight variations depending on the warehouse
• Typical schedule is 8:30 PM to 5 AM

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
