Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring CDL Class A Truck Drivers for full-time positions in Nitro, WV. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of auto parts, unload with pallet jacks, and handle liftgate deliveries across WV and neighboring states.

Expect home daily and a $75,000+ annual average, with a $1,300 weekly minimum guarantee. Schedule is 5 days a week with dispatch around 8:30 PM and a typical shift from 8:30 PM to 5 AM.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required (domiciled in the U.S. with state license).
• DOT medical card, non-excepted interstate.
• 1 year tractor-trailer in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• Clean DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations/accidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of auto parts to retail stores.
• Unload trailer using pallet jacks and carts; complete liftgate deliveries.
• Deliver primarily within WV with some stores in VA, OH, KY.
• Be on-call when not driving; maintain professional customer interactions.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time CDL Class A Truck Drivers

• Average $75,000 annually

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of auto parts and supplies to retail stores

• Support different routes and assignments based on business needs

• Deliver primarily throughout WV, with some stores in VA, OH, and KY

• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand carts, and totes

• Complete liftgate deliveries

• Be available on call when not needed for driving

• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday

• 5-day work week

• Typical dispatch time is 8:30 PM, with slight variations depending on the warehouse

• Typical schedule is 8:30 PM to 5 AM

• Late-model, Penske-maintained trucks

• 48' and 53' trailers

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.

• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
