• Schedule is Monday - Friday, 4-5 day work week based on Hours of Service
• Driver routes are home daily

Position Purpose:

The Driver is responsible for operating a tractor trailer or straight truck on various routes for delivering and unloading food products to customers safely and timely, adhering to DOT regulations. The role involves communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers, performing safety checks, and ensuring proper documentation and securement of freight.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Performing safety checks and inspections according to DOT standards.
• Following all DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving.
• Reporting safety hazards and inspecting freight loads.
• Checking and completing freight paperwork accurately.
• Driving to and delivering customer orders, unloading, and obtaining signatures.
• Handling customer returns and damaged goods, securing trailers, and maintaining paperwork.
• Keeping logs of hours and performing housekeeping duties.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 6+ months tractor-trailer experience
• Valid CDL-A
• Meet state licensing and certification requirements
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years
• Pass drug test, background check, and road test
• Current or ability to obtain DOT Health Card
• Ability to lift and move freight of varying sizes and weights
