Position Purpose:

The Driver is responsible for operating tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver and unload food products to customers safely and efficiently, complying with DOT regulations. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, and performing any duties necessary to serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting safety checks and inspections as per DOT standards, reporting issues as needed.
• Following all DOT and company safety policies.
• Inspecting trailers and securing freight properly.
• Checking and completing freight paperwork accurately.
• Driving routes, delivering products, and unloading at customer locations.
• Verifying deliveries, obtaining signatures, and handling payments if required.
• Securing returns and ensuring all equipment and freight are locked and safe.
• Completing daily logs and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and trailers.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Meeting state licensing and certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• Passing drug, background, and road tests.
• Current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to lift and move freight weighing 10-90 pounds.
