Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Missouri is seeking an experienced truck driver to transport goods safely across the supply chain. This full-time role involves delivering to manufacturing, retail, and distribution centers while maintaining logs and complying with regulations.

Job description

Role: An experienced truck driver responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within the supply chain logistics department.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport finished products and raw materials to and from manufacturing, retail, and distribution centers.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules and document work/rest periods, miles, fuel, and toll receipts.
• Input loading/unloading data into automated systems and ensure compliance with trucking regulations and company policies.
• Safely maneuver trucks for loading/unloading, verify delivery instructions, and report any defects, accidents, or violations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a truck driver with knowledge of electronic equipment like GPS and AVL units.
• Ability to drive long hours, adapt to traffic and weather conditions, and maintain a valid truck driving license.
• Strong understanding of applicable trucking regulations, with no recent violations.
• Preferred: CDL A license and at least one year of heavy/trailer truck driving experience.
