Job description

We are seeking an experienced truck driver to support our supply chain logistics operations in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Transporting finished goods and raw materials over land to manufacturing, retail, or distribution centers
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and performing preventative maintenance
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Documenting work/rest periods, miles driven, and managing fuel/toll receipts
• Inputting macros into automated systems for loading and unloading stages
• Complying with truck driving rules, regulations, and company policies
• Maneuvering trucks for loading/unloading, verifying delivery instructions, and reporting issues

Key Skills And Qualifications Include

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment like GPS and AVL units
• Ability to drive long hours and adapt to unexpected situations
• Extensive knowledge of truck driving regulations
• Valid truck driving license
• No recent violations or violations
