Primary Responsibility / Summary

Operates tractor/trailers and straight trucks to deliver and/or collect goods.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Inspects vehicle regularly and completes daily inspection forms.
2. Follows company safety procedures and Department of Motor Vehicles regulations; reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
3. Exchanges donation trailers.
4. Loads, secures, and unloads goods.
5. Completes assigned route efficiently.
6. Ensures all related paperwork is filled out correctly.
7. Maintains a friendly, cooperative attitude and is well-groomed at all times.
8. Operates all equipment safely and efficiently.
9. Maintains driving record that meets the company’s insurance requirements.
10. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Education & Experience

• 2-3 years of Class A driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good communication skills and a pleasant customer service attitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred.
