Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to transport materials to and from various job sites in Kansas. You will drive long distances, load and unload cargo, and maintain accurate logs of hours and mileage.

Responsibilities include complying with DOT regulations, recording fuel receipts, and performing routine truck maintenance. A Class A CDL and safety record are required; candidates must pass a drug screen and provide current MVR.

Qualifications

• CDL class A required.
• Experience with long-haul driving and logging hours.
• Ability to load/unload cargo and perform basic vehicle maintenance.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to transport materials to & from various job sites.

• Drive long distances to deliver goods to various job sites
• Load and unload cargo
• Document and log work/rest periods & miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking & break periods) as well as with company policies & procedures
• Perform daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
• Inspect trucks and record issues
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.

Qualifications:

• Class A CDL or commercial driver license required
• Hands on experience with electronic and software (GPS, tablet, CB etc)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of truck driving rules & regulations
• Must provide current MVR
• Must pass physical assessment and drug/alcohol screen
• Drive forklift while following safety guidelines to load & unload cargo
