Job summary

ADM Trucking, Inc. is seeking an experienced OTR/local truck driver in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role requires a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement (Hazmat within 60 days) and entails loading/unloading, safe transport of corn syrup and chemicals, and adherence to strict safety standards.

Home daily, full-time with benefits and paid vacation accrual from day 1. Some weekends/holidays required for timely deliveries; DOT physical and drug screen required. Base pay varies by market and experience.

Qualifications

• One year of verifiable OTR or local tractor trailer experience required in the last ten years. Tanker experience preferred.

• Commercial License REQUIRED Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement (Hazmat must be obtained within 60 days of employment if not held).
• Commitment to ADM’s safety culture; follow company safety procedures.
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
• No more than one chargeable accident within the last three years.
• No more than one moving violation ticket in the last three years.
• ADM Trucking requires completion of a DOT physical and drug screen (with a lift test).
• Base pay offered may vary; overtime paid for qualifying hours.
• Pay range provided: 80,156.44 - 136,931.60.

Responsibilities

• Plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction) and manage unforeseen circumstances.
• Operate equipment including semi-truck, tanker, pneumatic, alcohol; loads/unloads per instructions.
• Follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations (FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, DOL & GMP).
• Drive local routes around Cedar Rapids as part of multiple shift operations (day and night).
• Complete DOT physical and drug screen as required.

This is a full time driving position, home every day. Requires a Class A CDL and Tanker endorsement. Hazardous Materials endorsement must be obtained within 60 days of hire date. Some weekends and holidays will be required in order to ensure timely deliveries. Full time employees are eligible for a full benefits package and paid vacation accrual on day 1.

Job Summary

The driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances.

Equipment operated includes semi-truck, tanker, pneumatic, alcohol. Trailers are primarily smooth bore tank primarily hauling corn syrup, caustic, and denaturant. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions.

Essential Job Functions

The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations. This includes but is not limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, DOL & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay for this position is expected to be:

80,156.44 - 136,931.60
