Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time CDL Class B drivers for home daily, dedicated routes in Mississippi. Average annual earnings are $72,753 with performance incentives up to $10,400. home daily and a Monday–Friday schedule provide stability while delivering parts to automotive dealerships.

Drivers operate late-model Penske trucks with safety features, scan deliveries, and unload with pallet jacks. Comprehensive benefits start day one and include retirement, health care, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate).
• 1 year of driving experience in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with ≤2 moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use scanner to log products as they are unloaded and delivered.
• 5 stops and 1 transfer per route.

What you will do:

Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships

Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages

Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

5 stops and 1 transfer per route

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

Third shift dispatch

You will drive:

Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
