Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time Home Daily Class B Delivery Truck Drivers in Louisville, KY. The role delivers parts to automotive dealerships, unloads using manual equipment, and scans items during delivery.

You will work a 5-day schedule, averaging about 50 hours per week, home daily, with a strong compensation package and comprehensive benefits. Compensation includes an average annual pay around $74,992 with incentives up to $10,400 and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement where required.
• Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial driving experience in the last 5 years.
• Clean DMV/MVR with limited incidents; ability to pass background and drug screening.
• English language proficiency is required by federal law.

• Unload trailers with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Dispatch times range from 12am to 12:30am
• 5 day schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
• Avg. 50 hours per week
• Home Daily

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
