Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers in Modesto, CA. This role offers a dedicated route with home daily, late-model Penske trucks, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Join a safety-focused team with 50-hour weeks on a schedule Tue–Sat, starting around 1 AM. Duties include multi-stop deliveries, unloading, and scanning items for inventory control.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented relevant driving experience in the last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations/accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailers using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Use scanner to log products as delivered.
• Maintain safety and compliance on a dedicated route.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers

• Average $75517 Annually
• Local, home daily
• Dedicated route

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 30 to 35 stops per week, 5 transfer per week

Schedule:

• Dispatch time 1AM
• 5 day schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
• Average 50 hours per week
• Home daily

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
