Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for regional routes. Expect weekly pay, medical/dental/vision benefits after 30 days, and a comprehensive suite of driver-focused incentives.

You’ll drive modern sleepers and day cabs on touch freight involving groceries and pallets, with per diem, sign-on bonuses, and annual safety bonuses. Schedule typically Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday work and night dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (last 3 years).
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9m in past 3y OR 2y in past 5y OR 5y in past 10y.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and standards.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Solo Miles Pay:$0.67 per Mile with average 2000 Miles per Week

• Solo Stops Pay:$33.50 per Stop with average 15 Stops per Week

• Per Diem Pay: $60.00 per night with 2+ nights per Week

• Sign on Bonus:Pays you $1750 at 30 days and $1750 at 90 days

• Safety Bonus:Pays You $300 Four Times A Year (Every Quarter)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday (1 Saturday per month)

• Start Time: 10:00 PM - 5:00 AM Dispatch window

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
