Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A Heavy Touch CDL Truck Driver in Kenosha, WI, with weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Operate well-maintained trucks in a day cab or straight truck setup, with home daily or regional routes, 40–45 hours per week, and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Ryder supports drivers with paid training, uniforms and boot allowance, 401(k) with company match after one year, and generous leave options to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Must hold a Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• 9 months to 5 years of tractor trailer experience within required windows.
• Must pass Ryder drug test and a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal/state laws and guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting when required by the customer.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road testProvide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities
