Job summary

Penske Logistics in the United States is seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. The role offers an average $100,000 annually with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and up to $3,000 in safety incentives. Home weekly with a Sunday–Thursday schedule and daytime deliveries.

You will drive late-model Freightliner and Volvo trucks and unload tires at multi-stop stops. Eligibility includes valid Class A CDL, US residency, a current DOT medical card, and active driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Able to work the required schedule and location; clean background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Routes have multi-stop deliveries where drivers unload tires from trailers.
• Drivers count the exact number of tires delivered to each customer.

You will drive:

• Late-model Freightliner and Volvo trucks, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
• Equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Routes have multi-stop deliveries where drivers are responsible for unloading tires from their trailers
• Drivers are responsible for counting the exact number of tires being delivered to each customer

Schedule:

• Sunday through Thursday
• Sunday: Midday dispatch
• Monday through Thursday: Start times between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• Regional routes include deliveries throughout ND, MN, WI, IA, and MO

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
