Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring for Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. This role involves regional travel to multiple locations, delivering parts and supplies to retail stores, unloading with pallet jacks, and scanning items on delivery. Evening/night routes, with a Monday–Friday schedule, and travel up to 100% are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• Ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents (3 years).
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal law.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores.
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks and hand carts.
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

Average $110,000 annually

$100 per day travel incentive

Monday-Friday schedule

Optional opportunities to increase earnings through additional available work

Travel required, up to 100 percent

Safety bonus opportunity up to $1,000 annually

Hazmat endorsement required within 30 days of hire

What you will do:

This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed

Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores

Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks and hand carts

Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

Primarily evening/night routes, with dispatch times varying based on route assignment

Routes typically begin around 8:00 p.m., with end times varying based on the assigned route

Monday-Friday

You will drive:

Late-model, Penske-maintained trucks

Best-in-class specifications designed for comfort and safety

Automatic day cab with dry van trailer and liftgate

Equipped with inward-and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
