Penske Logistics is hiring full-time local Class A CDL truck drivers to perform dock-to-dock deliveries and support customer service with reliable on-time performance.

You’ll drive late-model Penske trucks, return home daily, and benefit from a comprehensive package including health care, paid time off from day one, and a strong retirement plan. Training and advancement opportunities are available across a nationwide network.

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Make dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products to customer locations
• Unload product using electric pallet jacks – physical but efficient, no pallet breakdown required
• Ensure timely, accurate deliveries while providing professional customer service
• Run local routes that allow you to return home daily

Schedule:

• Multiple scheduling options, including 4-day and 5-day workweeks
• PM start times

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

• The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
